Proudly part of the Huntly community, Green Gorilla works with the Waikato District Council. Our station is open to the public and commercial vehicles, offering reliable waste and resource recovery. Our local team is onsite, ready to guide you.

HUNTLY SITE SAFETY

Please follow safety instructions and signage onsite. We strongly recommend wearing sturdy covered shoes and avoiding jandals. No bare feet, please. All persons under the age of 15 years to always remain in vehicles. No pets are allowed outside of vehicles.

ABOUT HUNTLY  TRANSFER STATION

The Green Gorilla Huntly Transfer Station, serves as a key waste facility for disposal and resource recovery in the Waikato Region. Open to both the general public and commercial organisations, it accepts a variety of waste types including household and commercial rubbish, green waste, whiteware, and building/demolition debris. As part of Green Gorilla network – one of New Zealand largest waste providers – the Huntly location plays an essential role diverting material away from landfills, supporting the company’s commitment to sustainable waste solutions. Green Gorilla has also recently opened a new start of the art Construction and Demolition (C&D) Resource Recovery Facility in nearby Rotowaro, near Huntly, which is fully electric and significantly enhances the capability for recycling construction waste in the area.
